۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 (And We are nigher him than you, but you do not see Us) 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
