The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the night when it enshrouds, 1 By the day when it appeareth in glory, 2 And [by] He who created the male and female, 3 Verily, [O men,] you aim at most divergent ends! 4 As for one who gives [to others] and fears [God], 5 And believes in Al-Husna. 6 for him shall We make easy the path towards [ultimate] ease. 7 But as for him who is a miser, and self-sufficient, 8 and cries lies to the reward most fair, 9 Unto him therefore We shall Indeed make easy the path to hardship. 10 And his riches will not avail him when he falls headlong (into the Abyss). 11 Verily We take upon Ourselves to guide, 12 And indeed the Hereafter and this world both belong to Us. 13 Therefore I warn you of the fire that flames: 14 [the fire] which none shall have to endure but that most hapless wretch 15 The one who denied and turned away. 16 and from which the cautious shall be distanced. 17 he that spends his possessions [on others] so that he might grow in purity 18 And have in his mind no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return, 19 But only the desire to seek for the Countenance of their Lord Most High; 20 and before long he will be well satisfied. 21
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
