Believers, obey God and His Messengers and do not turn away from Him when you hear (His commands). 20 And do not be like those who say, "We have heard," while they do not hear. 21 ۞ Surely the worst of beasts in God's sight are those that are deaf and dumb and do not understand. 22 And if Allah had known any good in them He would have made them hear, and if He makes them hear they would turn back while they withdraw. 23 O you who believe! Answer Allah (by obeying Him) and (His) Messenger when he (SAW) calls you to that which will give you life, and know that Allah comes in between a person and his heart (i.e. He prevents an evil person to decide anything). And verily to Him you shall (all) be gathered. 24 And fear a trial which shall surely not smite in particular the evildoers among you; and know that God is terrible in retribution. 25 Remember, when you were few and powerless in the land, afraid of despoliation at the hands of men. But then God sheltered and helped you to strength, and provided for you good things that you may perhaps be grateful. 26 Believers, do not betray Allah and the Messenger, nor knowingly betray your trust. 27 Know that your wealth and children are a trial and that there is an immense reward with God. 28
