And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud. 26 and the jinn We had created before from flaming fire. 27 And (remember) when thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am creating a mortal out of potter's clay of black mud altered, 28 So, when I have made him and have breathed into him of My Spirit, do ye fall down, prostrating yourselves unto him. 29 All the angels prostrated before Adam 30 except Iblis who refused to join with the others in prostration. 31 God asked Iblis, "What made you not join the others in prostration?" 32 He replied: 'I will not prostrate to a mortal You have created of clay, from molded mud' 33 (Allah) said: "Then, get out from here, for verily, you are Rajim (an outcast or a cursed one)." [Tafsir At-Tabari] 34 "And verily, the curse shall be upon you till the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)." 35 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day they (the dead) will be resurrected." 36 Allah said: "Then, verily, you are of those reprieved, 37 until the day of a known time." 38 He said: my Lord! because Thou hast led me to err I will surely make things fairseeming unto them on the earth and will surely seduce them all: 39 "Except Thy servants among them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 40 [Allah] said, "This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight. 41 over My worshipers you have no authority, except the perverse that follow you. 42 Surely Hell is the promised place for all of them." 43 Which has several gates, and each gate is marked for every section of them." 44

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
