He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 They said, "Do not be afraid. We come to you with good news. You shall have a son who shall be endowed with great knowledge." 53 He said: 'What is this, do you bring me glad tidings even though I am old' Of what do you give me glad tidings' 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 except his wife who is doomed to be left behind." 60
