It is He who sends down rain from the sky: from it ye drink, and out of it (grows) the vegetation on which ye feed your cattle. 10 He groweth for you thereby the corn and olives and date-palms and grapes and all kinds of fruit. Verily therein is a sign for a people who ponder. 11 And He hath subjected for you the night and the day and the sun and the moon, and the stars are subjected by His command. Verily therein are signs for a people who understand. 12 On the earth He has fashioned for you objects of various hues: there is certainly a sign in that for people who pay heed. 13 It is God who put the oceans at your disposal so that you could find therein fresh fish for food and ornaments with which to deck yourselves with. You will find ships that sail for you so that you may travel in search of the bounties of God and give Him thanks. 14 God has fixed the mountains on earth lest you should be hurled away when it quakes. Therein He has also made rivers and roads so that you will find your way. 15 And landmarks. And by the stars they are [also] guided. 16 Is He who creates as he who does not create? Will you not remember? 17 If you count God's blessing, you will never number it; surely God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 18 And God knows what you keep secret and what you publish. 19 Those whom they call upon beside Allah have created nothing; rather, they themselves were created; 20 they are dead, not living, and they do not [even] know when they will be raised from the dead! 21
