Say: 'Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 For when the Trumpet is blown, that day there shall be no kinship any more between them, neither will they question one another. 101 Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 the fire will scorch their faces, and they will abide therein with their lips distorted in pain. 104 (They will be told), "Were Our revelations not recited to you and did you not call them lies?" 105 They will answer, "Lord, misfortune overcame us and we became an erring people. 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 But ye chose them for a laughing-stock until they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, while ye laughed at them. 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count of this." 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
