The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 9
