Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
