Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Food of the sinner. 44 Like dregs of oil, it will boil in their bellies 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 (It will be said) "Seize him and drag him into the midst of blazing Fire, 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 Taste it - thou who [on earth] hast considered thyself so mighty, so noble! 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place; 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 as a favour from your Lord. That is the great triumph. 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
