Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 If he is among the near 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
