So by oath of the things you see. 38 And that which you do not see. 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 And We certainly know that there are amongst you those that reject (it). 49 and surely it will be a cause of regret for the unbelievers. 50 And Verily, it (this Quran) is an absolute truth with certainty. 51 Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 52
