'O Messengers, eat of the good things and do righteousness; surely I know the things you do. 51 This community of yours is one community, and I am your Lord; so hold Me alone in fear. 52 The people divided themselves into many sects, each with their own book and each happy with whatever they had. 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone in their dark ignorance for an appointed time. 54 Do they fancy that Our continuing to give them wealth and children (means) that 55 We provide them with the means of competing with each other in virtuous deeds, but they do not realize this. 56 Surely those who stand in awe for fear of their Lord, 57 and those who believe in the signs of their Lord 58 and those who associate naught with their Lord 59 and who give whatever they [have to] give with their hearts trembling at the thought that unto their Sustainer they must return: 60 those, hasten in good works, outracing to them. 61 And we task not any soul beyond its scope, and with Us is a Record which speaketh the truth, and they will not be wronged. 62 But their hearts are in ignorance of this (Koran); and they have deeds besides that which they are doing. 63 But when We will strike with torment those (unbelievers) who are rich, they will start to cry for help. 64 (We shall say): 'Do not groan today, surely you shall receive no help from Us' 65 Time and again were My messages conveyed unto you, but [every time] you would turn about on your heels 66 In arrogance; talking nonsense about the Quran, and left him like one telling fables by night. 67 Was it that you did not give any thought to it (the Quran)? Was it different from what was revealed to your fathers? 68 Or is it that they did not recognize their Messenger (Muhammad SAW) so they deny him? 69 Do they say he is possessed? Rather he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse to the truth. 70 Had the truth followed their desires, the heavens and the earth and all that is in them would have been destroyed. We sent them the Quran but they ignored it. 71 Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask them for some wages? But the recompense of your Lord is better, and He is the Best of those who give sustenance. 72 And certainly, you (O Muhammad SAW) call them to a Straight Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 73 And verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed deviating far astray from the Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 74 ۞ And if We show mercy to them and remove the distress they have, they would persist in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on. 75 We inflicted Punishment on them, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor do they submissively entreat (Him)!- 76 To the extent that when We opened the gate of a severe punishment for them, they thereupon lie despairingly in it. 77
