What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 then he who transgressed 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
