The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
