I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 A warning to mankind, 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 “Till death overcame us.” 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
