Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 and relieved you of your burden 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 Did We not exalt thy fame? 4 Indeed, there is ease with hardship. 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And unto thine Lord, attend. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
