Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ya'. Sin. 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 On a straight path, 4 This is a revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
