To whoever We give a long life We make him stoop. Do they not understand? 68 And We have not taught him (Prophet Mohammed- peace and blessings be upon him) to recite poetry, nor does it befit him; it is nothing but an advice and the bright Qur’an. 69 To warn the living*, and to prove the Word against disbelievers. (Only the believers are deemed alive in Allah’s sight.) 70 Have they not seen what We have created from the labor of Our own hands? We have given them cattle. 71 And We have subdued them unto them, so that some of them they have for riding and on some of them they feed? 72 And they have therefrom other benefits and drinks. Will they not then give thanks? 73 And they have taken beside Allah gods, hoping that haply they may be succoured. 74 Those deities can render them no help. Yet these devotees act as though they were an army in waiting for them. 75 So let not their speech grieve thee (O Muhammad). Lo! We know what they conceal and what proclaim. 76 Does not man see We created him from a drop of semen? Even then he becomes an open contender, 77 And he puts forth for Us a parable, and forgets his own creation. He says: "Who will give life to these bones when they have rotted away and became dust?" 78 Say: He will revive them Who produced them at the first, for He is Knower of every creation, 79 Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it. 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yea! and He is the Creator (of all), the Knower. 81 When He wills a thing, His command is to say to it 'Be', and it is! 82 So glory be to Him who has control over all things. It is to Him that you will all be brought back. 83
