The 'Aad belied the sent ones. 123 When their brother Hud said unto them: fear ye not? 124 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 125 so fear you God, and obey you me. 126 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists). 127 Do you build over each high place a sign to amuse yourselves! 128 "And do ye get for yourselves fine buildings in the hope of living therein (for ever)? 129 "And when you seize, seize you as tyrants? 130 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 131 and fear Him who has succoured you with what you know, 132 He has given you cattle, children, 133 and with gardens and springs. 134 "Truly I fear for you the Penalty of a Great Day." 135 They replied: "It is all the same for us whether you admonish us or not. 136 This is naught but a custom of the ancients; 137 and we shall not be chastised.' 138 In this there is evidence (of the Truth), yet most of them do not have any faith. 139 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 140
