Have you not seen how those who dispute the revelations of God, turn away from Truth to falsehood? 69 Those who deny the Scripture and that wherewith We send Our messengers. But they will come to know, 70 When the shackles are around their necks and the chains; they will be dragged 71 In the boiling water, then they will be burned in the Fire. 72 Then it will be said to them: "Where are (all) those whom you used to join in worship as partners 73 They will say, "They have been lost to us; nay, we did not invoke anything before [that had real existence]." Thus God leaves the deniers of the truth to stray; 74 "This is so because you went about exulting wrongfully in the land," (will they be told), "and you were insolent. 75 Enter ye the gates of Hell as abiders therein. Hapless is the abode of the stiff-necked. 76 So be patient, [O Muhammad]; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And whether We show you some of what We have promised them or We take you in death, it is to Us they will be returned. 77 Verily We sent messengers before thee, among them those of whom We have told thee, and some of whom We have not told thee; and it was not given to any messenger that he should bring a portent save by Allah's leave, but when Allah's commandment cometh (the cause) is judged aright, and the followers of vanity will then be lost. 78
