Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." 3 We know very well what the earth takes away from them: We hold a book which records all things. 4 Aye! they belie the truth when it cometh unto them; wherefore they are in an affair confused. 5 Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps? 6 And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, 7 To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah). 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 and tall palm-trees with clusters of dates 10 as sustenance apportioned to men; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life: [and] even so will be [man's] coming-forth from death. 11 Before them was denied (the Hereafter) by the People of Noah, the Companions of the Rass, the Thamud, 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 and the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba': every one denied their messengers, and so My warning came true. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a second creation. 15
