Believers, shall I direct you to a commerce that will deliver you from a grievous chastisement? 10 You shall believe in God and His Messenger, and struggle in the way of God with your possessions and your selves. That is better for you, did you but know. 11 He will forgive you your faults and cause you to enter into gardens, beneath which rivers flow, and goodly dwellings in gardens of perpetuity; that is the mighty achievement; 12 He will also grant you the other favour that you desire: help from Allah and a victory that will come soon. Give glad tidings of this to the believers. 13 O you who believe! Be you helpers (in the Cause) of Allah as said 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), to Al-Hawariun (the disciples): "Who are my helpers (in the Cause) of Allah?" Al-Hawarieen (the disciples) said: "We are Allah's helpers" (i.e. we will strive in His Cause!). Then a group of the Children of Israel believed and a group disbelieved. So We gave power to those who believed against their enemies, and they became the uppermost. 14
