But what is the matter with the unbelievers, that they strain their glances continuously towards them, 36 in crowds, both on the right and on the left? 37 Does everyone of them wish to enter the Garden of Bliss? 38 Not at all, for We have created them of what they know. 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests, that, verily We are Able. 40 To replace them with better than them; and We are not to be outdone. 41 (Muhammad), leave them alone to dispute and play until they face the Day with which they have been threatened: 42 the Day on which they will hastily come forth from their graves, as though they were hurrying on to the altars of their deities. 43 With eyes aghast, abasement stupefying them: Such is the Day which they are promised. 44
