What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 [To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups? 37 What, is every man of them eager to be admitted to a Garden of Bliss? 38 Certainly not! They know quite well out of what We created them. 39 No, I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We have the ability 40 To replace them with better than them; and We are not to be outdone. 41 So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they meet their Day which they are promised. 42 The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if they were, toward an erected idol, hastening. 43 Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with. 44
