Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A blazing Fire! 11
