We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
