Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 when the seas swarm over, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 watching over you 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
