The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky with its constellations, 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 Cursed be the makers of the pit, 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they sat by it (fire), 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 whom they hate for no other reason than that they believe in God, the Almighty, the One to whom all praise is due, 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Have you not heard the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 Yet the infidels persist in denial. 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 On a guarded tablet. 22
