Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Gross rivalry diverts you, 1 till you reached the grave. 2 No! You are going to know. 3 And once again: Nay, in time you will come to understand! 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 You will be shown hell 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the sight of certainty. 7 Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
