The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every scorner and mocker 1 Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what will make you realize what the crushing disaster is? 5 It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled, 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 in outstretched columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
