Do you not realize that We have sent Satan to incite the unbelievers to sin. 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 As it is, some assert, "The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations living before them did We destroy? Do you find anyone of them around or do you even hear any word from them? 98
