If We extend anyone's life, We reverse his development. Can they not use their reason? 68 And We have not taught him (Prophet Mohammed- peace and blessings be upon him) to recite poetry, nor does it befit him; it is nothing but an advice and the bright Qur’an. 69 That it may warn him who would have life, and (that) the word may prove true against the unbelievers. 70 Have they not seen how that We have created for them of that Our hands wrought cattle that they own? 71 And We have subdued them unto them so that some of them they have for riding and some they eat. 72 they also have other uses in them and drinks. What, will they not give thanks! 73 They set up deities apart from Allah, hoping that they will receive help from them. 74 They are not able to give them succour; whereas they shall be against them host brought forward. 75 Muhammad, let not their words annoy you. We certainly know whatever they conceal or reveal. 76 IS MAN, then, not aware that it is We who create him out of a [mere] drop of sperm - whereupon, lo! he shows himself endowed with the power to think and to argue? 77 And he has struck for Us a similitude and forgotten his creation; he says, 'Who shall quicken the bones when they are decayed?' 78 Say, "He will give them life who produced them the first time; and He is, of all creation, Knowing." 79 He who produces fire for you from green trees and from this you kindle fire." 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Aye, that He is! for He is the All-Wise Creator, 81 Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, "Be!" and it is! 82 Holy is He Who has full control over everything, and to Him you shall all be recalled. 83
