▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
For any who fears to stand before his Lord are two Gardens. 46 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 47 abounding in branches -- 48 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 49 therein two fountains of running water -- 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 53 (They shall) recline on couches lined with brocade, and the fruits of the Gardens will be near at hand. 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 55 Upon thrones are the women who do not gaze at men except their husbands, and before them, are untouched by any man or jinn. 56 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 57 As if they were rubies and coral. 58 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 59 Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor? 60 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 61 Besides those two there shall be two other gardens. 62 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 63 The greenest of green pastures. 64 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 67 In them (both) will be fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates. 68 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 69 Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 Houris cloistered in pavilions -- 72 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 73 untouched by jinn or mankind before. 74 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 75 Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty. 76 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Honor! 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
