Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Those who disbelieve among the People of the Scripture and the idolaters could not have left off (erring) till the clear proof came unto them, 1 An apostle from Allah rehearsing Writs cleansed. 2 in writings wherein are scriptures, absolutely true and unerring. 3 The people of the Book were not divided among themselves till after the clear proof had come to them. 4 And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion. 5 Verily those who disbelieve from among the people of the Book and the associaters shall be cast into the Hell-fire, as abiders therein. These! they are the worst of the creation. 6 (And) lo! those who believe and do good works are the best of created beings. 7 Their recompense lies with their Lord: Gardens of eternity beneath which rivers flow; therein they shall dwell, forever and ever. Allah is well-pleased with them, and they are well-pleased with Him. All this is for him who fears his Lord. 8
