Have you not seen that your Lord increases the shadow. Had He wanted He would have made it stationary], and has made the sun their guide. 45 Then We draw it in towards Ourselves,- a contraction by easy stages. 46 And He it is Who maketh night a covering for you, and sleep repose, and maketh day a resurrection. 47 It is He who sends the winds with auspicious news in advance of His benevolence; and We send pure water down from the sky 48 That We may bring to life thereby a dead land and give it as drink to those We created of numerous livestock and men. 49 And We distribute it among them in various ways that they may ponder and reflect; yet most men disdain everything but denial and thanklessness. 50 If We had so wished, We might have sent a warner into every town, 51 Do not yield to the unbelievers but launch a great campaign against them with the help of the Quran. 52 ۞ It is He Who has let free the two bodies of flowing water: One palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter; yet has He made a barrier between them, a partition that is forbidden to be passed. 53 And it is He Who created man from water, then appointed relatives and in-laws for him; and your Lord is All Able. 54 They worship besides God things that can neither benefit nor harm them. The unbelievers are defiant against their Lord. 55 We have sent thee not, except good tidings to bear, and warning. 56 Say: 'I do not ask of you a wage for this, except for him who wishes to take to his Lord a way.' 57 Also trust in the Living One who never dies and glorify Him with His praise. He has sufficient knowledge of the sins of His servants. 58 In six days He created the earth and the heavens and all that is between them; then He established Himself on the "Throne" (of the Kingdom of the uriverse). (He is) the Merciful: as to His Glory, ask the one who knows. 59 When you say to them: "Bow before Ar-Rahman," they say: "What is Ar-Rahman? Should we adore whoever you ask us to?" And their aversion increases further. ۩ 60
