۞ O men! It is you who stand in need of God -- God is self-sufficient, and praiseworthy -- 15 If He so pleased, He could blot you out and bring in a New Creation. 16 And with Allah that shall not be hard. 17 No burden-bearer shall bear another's burden, and if some over-laden soul should call out for someone else to carry his load, not the least portion of it will be borne for him, even though he were a near relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord in the unseen, and pray regularly. Anyone who purifies himself will benefit greatly from doing so. To God all shall return. 18 The blind and the seeing are not alike; 19 nor are the depths of darkness and the light; 20 Nor the shade and the sun's heat. 21 nor are the living and the dead equal. Allah makes to hear whosoever He will, but you cannot make those who are in their graves hear. 22 You are but a warner, 23 Verily, We have sent thee with the truth, as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner: for there never was any community but a warner has [lived and] passed away in its midst. 24 If they belie you, those before them also belied. Their Messengers came to them with clear signs; the Psalms, and the Illuminating Book. 25 [but] in the end I took to task all those who were bent on denying the truth: and how awesome was My rejection! 26
