Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily the tree of Zaqqum: 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 Like boiling oil, it will boil in the bellies, 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 'Seize him and drag him into the center of Hell. 47 then pour over his head the anguish of burning despair! 48 'Taste! Surely thou art the mighty, the noble. 49 This is that concerning which you were doubting.' 50 As to the Righteous (they will be) in a position of Security, 51 amidst gardens and springs. 52 robed in silk and brocade, set face to face. 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, 56 As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment. 57 We have made this Quran easy to understand, in your own language, so that they may take heed. 58 Wait, then; they too are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
