Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
