The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 And indeed your Lord will soon give you so much that you will be pleased. (Allah seeks to please the Holy Prophet peace and blessings be upon him.) 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
