And says man: What! when I am dead shall I truly be brought forth alive? 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 Then We shall pluck forth from every party whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the All-merciful; 69 then We shall know very well those most deserving to burn there. 70 Not one of you there is, but he shall go down to it; that for thy Lord is a thing decreed, determined. 71 Then We shall save those who feared God, but the wrongdoers shall be left there on their knees. 72 When Our clear verses are recited to them the unbelievers say to the believers: 'Which of the two parties has a better position or company?' 73 How many generations that had far more wealth and ostentation have We laid low before them! 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better for resort. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall add and add to his punishment. 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 And they have taken gods, other than Allah, that they might be a power from them. 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
