And lo! it is a revelation of the Lord of the Worlds, 192 Which the trusted spirit descended with 193 into your heart, so that you may be a warner, 194 It has been revealed in plain Arabic. 195 Its news was also mentioned in the ancient Books. 196 Is it not a sign unto them that the learned among the Children of Isra'il know it? 197 But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs, 198 And had he recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe it until they behold the painful punishment. 201 And it shall come to them all of a sudden, while they shall not perceive; 202 and then they will exclaim, "Could we have a respite?" 203 Would they then wish for Our Torment to be hastened on? 204 Think! If We let them enjoy life for some years, 205 And then cometh that which they were promised, 206 of what avail to them will be all their past enjoyments? 207 We never destroyed a village that did not have warners 208 By way of reminder; and We never are unjust. 209 The satans did not bring down this (Clear Book), 210 It would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it). 211 Verily, they have been removed far from hearing it. 212 So do not call any other god beside Allah lest you become of those who will be punished, 213 And warn your nearest relations, 214 And take those believers under your wing who follow you. 215 If they disobey you, say, "I bear no responsibility for what you do." 216 And put your trust in Him Who is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate, 217 who can see whether you stand up 218 and when you turn among those who prostrate themselves. 219 Verily He! He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I inform you (of him) upon whom the Shaitans descend? 221 They descend on every lying sinner, 222 They listen eagerly, but most of them are liars. 223 And as for the poets [they, too, are prone to deceive themselves: and so, only] those who are lost in grievous error would follow them. 224 hast thou not seen how they wander in every valley 225 and preaching what they themselves never practice. 226 The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be. 227
Almighty Allah's Truth.
