THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
