Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he! 1 Of no avail shall be his wealth, nor what he has acquired. 2 He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame 3 And his wife, the wood-carrier, 4 upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
