Al-Hijjr 4 of 6
Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; 49 And that My punishment-- that is the painful punishment. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." [Abraham] said, "Indeed, we are fearful of you." 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 He said, "Who but the misguided despair of the mercy of their Lord?" 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 excepting the household of Lot. We shall deliver all of them, 59 except his wife (about whom Allah says that) We have decreed that she shall be among those who stay behind." 60

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
