Qaf. By the honored Qur'an... 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner of their own hath come unto them; and the disbelievers say: This is a strange thing: 2 What, when we are dead and become dust? That is a far returning!' 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 But no! They called the truth a lie when it came to them; so they are in a confused state. 5 What, have they never observed the heaven above them, (and seen) how We built and adorned it, leaving no crack? 6 And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And tall date-palms laden with clusters ranged. 10 A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising. 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 And the A-ad, and Fir'awn, and the brethren of Lut. 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the folk of Tubb'a: every one denied their messengers, therefor My threat took effect. 14 So did We tire by creating the first time? Rather they doubt being created again. 15
