Al-Anbyaa' 3 of 7
Do not those who deny the truth see that the heavens and the earth were joined together and that We then split them asunder? And that We have made every living thing out of water? Will they still not believe? 30 We set firm mountains upon the earth lest it should shake with them, and We placed therein ravines to be paths so that they might be guided. 31 And We have made the heavens as a canopy well guarded: yet do they turn away from the Signs which these things (point to)! 32 And He it is Who hath created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon, each in an orb floating. 33 We have not assigned to any mortal before thee to live forever; therefore, if thou diest, will they live forever? 34 Every living being shall taste death and We shall subject you to ill and good by way of trial, and to Us shall all of you be eventually sent back. 35 And when the disbelievers see you, they do not appoint you except as an object of mockery; “Is he the one who speaks ill of your Gods?”; whereas they deny the remembrance of the Most Gracious Himself! 36 Man is hasty by nature. I shall certainly show you My Signs. Do not ask Me to be hasty. 37 And they say: When will this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 38 If only those who disbelieved knew (the time) when they will not be able to ward off the Fire from their faces, nor from their backs; and they will not be helped. 39 Rather, it will come to them unexpectedly and bewilder them, and they will not be able to repel it, nor will they be reprieved. 40 Before you, other Messengers were mocked, but the mockers were encompassed by the very thing they mocked. 41

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
