And indeed, We delivered the children of Israel from the shameful suffering 30 From Fir'aun (Pharaoh); Verily! He was arrogant and was of the Musrifun (those who transgress beyond bound in spending and other things and commit great sins). 31 and We chose them, out of a knowledge, above all beings, 32 And gave signs to them in which there was a clear trial. 33 Even then they say: 34 "After we die, we shall never be raised to life again. 35 Bring back to life our fathers if what you say is true". 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them because they were indeed Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals, etc.). 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in play. 38 We did not create them save with a purpose, yet most people have no knowledge of this. 39 The appointed time for all of them will be the Day of Judgment 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 Except those upon whom Allah has mercy; indeed He only is the Most Honourable, the Most Merciful. 42
