The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
