And truly, this (the Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists), 192 trustworthy divine inspiration has alighted with it from on high 193 To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish. 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 And verily it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned men of the Israelites know it? 197 And if We had revealed it (this Quran) unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 they would still not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it to enter the hearts of the sinners. 200 They will not believe in it until they suffer the painful torment. 201 It will come upon them suddenly when they are not expecting it. 202 Then they will exclaim, "Could we have some respite?" 203 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 204 Tell Me, if We do let them enjoy for years, 205 And afterwards comes to them that (punishment) which they had been promised! 206 of what avail to them will be all their past enjoyments? 207 We never destroyed any town without first sending to them warning and guidance. 208 To advise; and We never oppress. 209 And it is not the Shayatin (devils) who have brought it (this Quran) down, 210 And it behoves them not, and they have not the power to do (it). 211 verily, [even] from hearing it are they utterly debarred! 212 Therefor invoke not with Allah another god, lest thou be one of the doomed. 213 Warn your close relatives 214 And lower thy wing to the Believers who follow thee. 215 but if they disobey thee, say: "I am free of responsibility for aught that you may do!" 216 Have trust in the Majestic and All-merciful God, 217 who sees you when you stand 218 And your movements among those who bow in homage to God. 219 for, verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-knowing! 220 Shall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend? 221 They descend upon every calumniator, sinner. 222 Who give ear, and most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, the erring follow them, 224 Art thou not aware that they roam confusedly through all the valleys [of words and thoughts,] 225 And that they say that which they do not do, 226 The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be. 227
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
